I had to again flee with my family

This time, old enough to understand their past struggle. When I came to the United States, one of my biggest relief was to know that I wouldn't be in a country where war could start at any given moment, every year. However, I always think about my family that still lives in the Ivory Coast; about the people that still live in war torn countries.

As a kid, I grew up in the Ivory Coast

During my childhood, it was a country torn by war. My family had to flee the main city and take refuge multiple times during the 2000s. Fast forward to 2012, the country was a little less chaotic. However it was then that I experienced war with my own eyes. I was 12 years old at the time and could understand better the feeling of constant fear that war instigates inside of us. There was a huge war in 2012 that took place all over the country. Even my neighborhood wasn't safe.

I still feel compassion for them

This is the feeling that pushed me to create this brand. A brand with purpose, to provide to those in need of help.
